Road striping work will close several lanes at the Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza from 8 p.m. Sunday to 8 a.m. Monday and motorists are advised to slow around project areas and expect possible delays, the Golden Gate Bridge District said.

Striping work was done overnight Saturday and has been extended to overnight Sunday.

Starting at 8 p.m. the toll plaza will have one southbound lane and two northbound lanes open. When crews have finished work on the southbound lanes the configuration will change to two southbound lanes and one northbound lane open to complete the project.

Work is expected to be complete by 8 a.m. Monday, when three lanes in each direction will be open.
