San Jose man with autism shines on the piano

Chi-Ling Wu was diagnosed with autism when he was two years old. His family says that he is on the severe side of the spectrum  and will need living assistance for the rest of his life.

While limited in speech, 26-year-old Chi-Ling has an incredibly powerful voice through the piano.

Chi-Ling has performed throughout the South Bay through an organization called Friends of Children With Special Needs.

FCSN now has two community centers in the Bay Area with over 800 members.

Their goal is to develop programs, support and housing for individuals with special needs and their families.

Chi-Ling's family hopes his story will show how people living with autism can thrive with the support of others.

"I hope this video shows that beauty and talent is found in every person - as long as we are willing to nurture it," said his sister, Wei-Ling Wu.
