Snapchat now selling smart glasses

VENICE BEACH, Calif. (KTVU) - Snapchat is now selling smart sunglasses.

The social media app is looking beyond filters and selling the glasses from a yellow vending machine.

The first vending machine has beeninstalled in Venice Beach near Snapchat's headquarters.

The glasses cost around $130 and feature built-in wireless video cameras.

They are similar to "Google Glass" with a small, circular camera in the corner. The glasses can connect directly to the Snapchat app via Bluetooth or wi-fi.
