Third suspect in San Jose office park slaying arrested

SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) -- Police in the South Bay announced late Wednesday afternoon that they have arrested the third suspect in the brutal August homicide of a man at a San Jose business park.

Last month, three men broke into an office building on Lundy Avenue. They then tortured and killed 38-year-old Christopher Wrenn.

The suspect arrested is the one wearing a mask seen in surveillance video that authorities released as they sought the third suspect.

He is identified as 42-year-old Duane Aguero of San Jose. Police arrested him on Sunday, but did not reveal his arrest until late Wednesday.

The other two were shot and killed by police in two different incidents 24 hours apart. They were 29-year-old Matthew Castillo and 40-year-old Richard Jacquez.

Police have not said what the motive may have been, but drugs were recovered during the investigation.

Aguero booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder.
