Video shows man kick car, throw phone and tackle woman in dramatic road rage

An incident of dramatic road rage on Friday was caught on camera in Arnold, Missouri and the woman who was assaulted is asking the public to help locate the man responsible.

The woman, who did not want to use her name, was being followed closely by a truck. She decided to pull off the road and parked in a Walgreens parking lot. The man began yelling at her for stuff the woman says she didn’t do.

"He's like 'oh you can't throw things out of your car and get away with it,'” the woman said. “I said, “you have the wrong person, I didn't throw anything out of my car.’”

The situation quickly escalated quickly.  The man can be seen on video kicking the woman’s car. And when she attempts to take a picture of the man, he rushes her, takes her to the ground, and then grabs her phone and hurls it across the parking lot.

“You think you’re safe. You’re not safe,” the woman said, who suffered injuries to her hand following being tackled. “Never in a million years would I have though the guy would touch me.”

After the man threw the phone, he got back into his truck and nearly hit the woman as he sped off. The incident has left the woman shaken, scared to drive on her own and out of work, as she is a hairdresser who needs her hands.

“I don’t want to feel unsafe anymore,” the woman said. “I don’t want this to take over, and that’s what it’s doing right now. I’m hoping someone can help so we can catch him so he doesn’t do this to anyone else.”
