Bernie Sanders speaks in Bay Area

Democratic Presidential candidate, Bernie Sanders, is continuing his campaign tour through the Bay Area Tuesday.

He discussed health care during a news conference at 10 a.m. at the Hyatt House Emeryville on Shellmound Street.

Later in the day, Sanders had rallies scheduled at the Kaiser Permanente Arena in Santa Cruz at 1 p.m., and at Colton Hall Lawn in Monterey at 7 p.m.

On Wednesday, he will have several events, including a rally in Palo Alto at 2 p.m.

The Bay Area is an important part of the state for Sanders. He campaigned in Oakland on Memorial Day, appearing with actor Danny Glover and San Francisco supervisor Jane Kim at an event in Oakland.
