CLEVELAND, Ohio - Chaos breaks out in an Ohio courtroom after a father lashes out against the man convicted of killing his 18-year-old daughter.
The judge sentenced Michael Madison to death Thursday for killing three women and had allowed family members of the victims to address the court and the killer.
The father of one of the victim's approached the podium to speak, then turned around and lunged over the defense table to grab Madison.
Several officers stepped in to restrain the father and Madison was taken out of the courtroom.
Madison was convicted last month of killing 38-year-old Angela Deskins, 28-year-old Shetisha Sheeley and 18-year-old Shirellda Terry.
Their bodies were found in July 2013 near the east Cleveland apartment building where Madison lived.
