Mystery odor causes stink at Livermore 911 dispatch center

LIVERMORE, Calif. - Firefighters in Livermore responded to help their police department colleagues late Thursday night.

They were called to the police headquarters for a mysterious odor inside the building.

It affected the area where the 911 dispatchers work, but service was never interrupted.

Firefighters think the odor may have been related to some recent upgrades to the building's lighting system.
