Fatal crash in Pleasant Hill
All but two lanes of southbound Interstate Highway 680 are closed in Pleasant Hill early Thursday following a fatal crash, according to the California Highway Patrol.
PLEASANT HILL, Calif. - A man died Thursday morning on Interstate Highway 680 in Pleasant Hill, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The CHP responded to a 4:34 a.m. report of a man in the middle lane of the freeway, which closed all southbound lanes just north of the junction with Treat Boulevard in Walnut Creek.
Lanes reopened about 6 a.m.
