Oakland teacher drains half court shot at fundraiser, wins car

OAKLAND, Calif. (KTVU) - A teacher at St. Theresa School in Oakland drained a half court shot and won a car.

Mr. Maas went with the one arm, over-the-top sling and buried it. The gymnasium erupted as Mr. Maas raised his arms in triumph.

The school was holding a fundraising auction and, shortly after a parent bought Mr. Maas a shot from half court, he became the proud new owner of an Alfa Romeo.
