Police were investigating a reported shooting at a Concord plaza.
CONCORD, Calif. - Concord police are investigating a shooting at a parking garage on Salvio Street near Todos Santos Plaza.
Police said three male victims were shot and that friends drove them to John Muir Medical Center in Concord around 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police were able to identify the suspect vehicle, a Toyota Camry. KTVU has learned Contra Costa County sheriff's deputies found the car being driven on Alves Lane in Bay Point and pulled it over. At the time of the stop, the car's license plate had been switched.
Investigators are still trying to figure out what led to the shooting in such a popular area of downtown Concord.
The victims are expected to survive. A motive was not known, but authorities believe the victims did not know their attackers.
