UC Berkeley students win esports national championship

Students at the University of California at Berkeley took home the national championship in esports on Sunday.

UC Berkeley's Starcraft II team beat students from Canada's University of Waterloo 4-3 in what esports enthusiasts hailed as a "nail-biting" series.

Tespa, a network of college gamers, esports clubs and competitive  leagues, sponsored and broadcast the event. The winner took home $10,500 in scholarship money, Tespa officials said on Twitter.
