Vegetation Briggs Fire burns in Sonoma County

GEYSERVILLE, Calif. - A slow-burning fire broke out Sunday afternoon in Sonoma County's Geyersville, according to Cal Fire officials.

The blaze, dubbed the Briggs Fire, was reported just before 2 p.m. in the 6300 block of Briggs Ranch Road.

By 4 p.m., the fire had spread to 4 acres and was burning in heavy fuels, Cal Fire said.
