SANTA ROSA, Calif. (KTVU) - Santa Rosa Police have arrested a woman who they say tried to get high right in front of an officer.
Vanessa Harlan was arrested yesterday at noon, in the parking lot of Memorial Hospital.
Police were called to the parking lot after someone reported seeing a woman in a car with a gun.
When an officer arrive, police say the woman started to inhale nitrous oxide from a canister in front of the officer.
The canisters are used to re-fill whipped cream cans, but people also use them to get high.
Police say they also found a handgun and ammunition in two purses on the floor of the car.
