Speaking at a campaign rally in Florida, Trump expressed frustration that the surging cases of the virus that has killed more than 231,000 people in the U.S. this year remains prominent in the news, sparking chants of “Fire Fauci” from his supporters.

The president’s tweet came hours after the FBI confirmed that it was “aware of the incident and investigating.”

The paper, which was released Friday, examined 18 Trump rallies between June and September, following subjects for ten weeks after each rally.

Campaigning for Joe Biden on Saturday, the former president painted Trump as insecure and self-absorbed, describing him as a failed president who cares more about himself than the country.

"You've got to take care of the floors, you know? The floors of the forest, very important," the president said.
