2 San Jose suspects arrested in connection to man's murder
SAN JOSE, Calif. (KTVU) - San Jose Police Department arrested two homicide suspects on Wednesday in connection to a man’s murder last week.
Heriberto Quintana, 18, of San Jose and Santiago Gonzalez, 19, of San Jose, were booked into the Santa Clara County Jail for murder.
Police would not provide additional details about the follow-up investigation that led to their arrests.
The victim was identified as Eddie Garcia Jr., a 57-year-old San Jose resident. Police responded on June 5 to a call of the victim’s body, which was down in the area of N. 26th and Julian streets.
According to police, Garcia had suffered at least gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at a local hospital a short time later.
