Nearly 12,000 baby loungers sold on Amazon are being recalled because these products might cause severe injury hazards, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
CPSC officials explained in a Jan. 15 recall letter that these items violate the mandatory safety standard for infant sleep products. The sides are too low to place an infant and the enclosed openings at the foot of the loungers are wider than allowed, posing serious risks of fall and entrapment hazards to infants.

According to the CPSC, these loungers also don’t have a stand, posing a fall hazard if used on elevated surfaces. The violations create an "unsafe sleeping environment and can cause death or serious injury."
Which baby loungers were recalled?
Why you should care:
Approximately 11,900 BBWOO Baby Loungers were recalled and the Consumer Product Safety Commission noted that they were sold on Amazon from July 2024 through November 2025 for between $34 and $39.
The loungers are made of a foam sleeping pad and padded bumpers with a cloth cover and have a ribbon tie at one end. Consumers can find the model number on a tracking label stitched on the outside cover.
Are refunds available for the baby loungers?
What you can do:
Owners of the baby loungers should immediately stop using them and contact LSY Direct for a full refund.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission added in their recall notice that consumers should remove the foam and pads from the baby lounger’s cover and cut the cover, foam, and pad in half, and email pictures of the destroyed pieces to bbwoorecall@163.com to receive a refund.
