Live wires down, shelter in place ordered in San Mateo neighborhood

SAN MATEO, Calif. (KTVU) - San Mateo Police Department are alerting residents to shelter-in-place immediately because of live wires that are down near Santa Inez Avenue and Ramona Street Monday night. The alert went out around 10:15 p.m.
The fire department and PG&E are working to clear the area. This is considered an extreme safety hazard that poses a threat to life and property according to officials.
Residents are instructed to stay inside unless otherwise directed by official personnel.
