Motel 6 shooting leaves 1 dead, 2 injured
SAN JOSE, Calif. - San Jose Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead and 2 other men injured.
The incident happened at Motel 6 on The Alameda around 3:30 a.m. Saturday when police received calls about shots fired inside one of the rooms.
When officers arrived they found three people shot. One man was pronounced dead at the scene and two others were injured.
Witnesses describe hearing more than half a dozen shots.
Investigators are still searching for the shooter or shooters. There is no word on who the victims are or why they may have been targeted.
Police are interviewing witnesses and looking for hotel surveillance video that might lead them to the suspect or suspects.
