Nicole ‘Snooki’ Polizzi reveals she’s cancer-free months after diagnosis

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi announced that she is cancer free just seven months after being diagnosed with stage 1 cervical cancer, the "Jersey Shore" reality star told People in an exclusive interview on Sept. 18.
The 38-year-old reality star shared with the media outlet that she underwent a hysterectomy on July 31 and added that she is "on the other side" after a successful surgery.

In an interview, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi told People, "As of right now, I am cancer-free," she shares. "They got everything out. So I’m definitely happy that I did it."
Polizzi posted in a TikTok video on Sept. 11, giving her fans an update on her recovery process after undergoing her hysterectomy in July.

"I still have to take it easy," she said. "I have to remind myself like it takes a couple months to really, really recover. And even though I feel OK, like don't go over the top," she said.
Earlier this year, Polizzi shared in a TikTok video in January that doctors discovered cancerous cells on the top of her cervix after performing a colposcopy and biopsy.
The next month, Polizzi revealed on TikTok that doctors detected adenocarcinoma, a type of cancer, in her cervix after a pap smear exam.
USA Today reported that Polizzi said she is living an active lifestyle as a mom to her three kids, Lorenzo, Giovanna, and Angelo.
