Person shot to death in Oakland: police

A person was shot in Oakland Saturday evening, according to authorities. The shooting occurred in the 8400 block of International Boulevard around 7:15 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene and found a person suffering from gunshot wounds.

OAKLAND, Calif. - A person was shot in Oakland on Saturday evening, according to authorities. 

The shooting occurred in the 8400 block of International Boulevard around 7:15 p.m. Officers arrived at the scene and found a person suffering from gunshot wounds. 

Paramedics arrived at the scene and tried to save the person, but the person died from their injuries at the scene. 

What we don't know:

Officials haven't released the identity of the victim. The circumstances leading up to the shooting also remain unclear. No suspect was named.
