Pickup truck crashes into pole then gas pump in suspected Martinez DUI

MARTINEZ (KTVU) - Police in Martinez suspect a driver of DUI early Saturday morning. Officials say the driver took out a utility pole with his pickup truck while driving along Alhambra before crashing into a gas pump at the Chevron station on Bluegridge at Virginia Hills Center.

Luckily there was no gas spill or fire.

The crash happened around 1:30 a.m. Police say the driver had passengers in his vehicle including several children, but no one was injured.
