Police arrest Richmond suspect in quick chase to Bay Bridge

RICHMOND, Calif. - Police chased a suspect from Richmond to the maze on the Bay Bridge, causing a short stoppage of traffic early Wednesday morning, according to video and the California Highway Patrol.

The chase began at about 5:30 a.m. for an unknown reason.

Police pursued the driver and said they arrested him near the maze. 

No other details were given. 

Richmond police have not immediately returned a call seeking more information.
