The San Jose Police Officer's Association has released a new public service announcement against a rise in targeted police shootings.

The one minute PSA asks the question "Where is the outrage when an officer is shot and killed?" It ends with the phrase "All Lives Matter" and "Blue Lives Matter."

The phrases "All Lives Matter" and "Blue Lives Matter" are controversial with some members of the "Black Lives Matter" movement.

In response to the criticism, the police union says the PSA is simply asking for the community to speak up when officers are killed.

According to the union, 58 officers have been killed in the line of duty this year, which is a 70% increase from last year.
