Santa Clara officer arrested for domestic violence
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KTVU) - A Santa Clara Police Department officer was arrested just after midnight on Saturday.
The suspect is identified as Daniel Burde, a 7-year veteran police officer for Santa Clara Police Department.
When Santa Clara police responded to reports of domestic violence, they saw an adult female had visible injuries and was in a dating relationship with Burde.
Burde was off-duty at the time of the incident. He has been placed on paid leave.
Burde was arrested for felony domestic violence and booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.
