Thirty-five arrests at Donald Trump campaign event in San Diego's convention center
SAN DIEGO, Calif. (KTVU) - A campaign stop for presumptive Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump, erupted into violence Friday evening in San Diego.
Police arrested 35-people before his speech at the downtown convention center.
Fights broke out between Trump supporters and protesters.
Many of the demonstrators were angry at Trump's proposal to build a wall along the Mexican border.
One protester grabbed a Trump campaign hat and burned it.
When police declared the demonstration, an unlawful assembly, some in the crowd threw plastic bottles at officers.
