Three people, including the suspect were killed in San Jose Wednesday night.

Police are not saying much about what happened, except that there was an officer-involved shooting.

Authorities received a call just after 9 p.m. Wednesday, about a shooting at a home on the 1000 block of Laura Ville Lane, west of Highway 87, in the Willow Glen neighborhood.

Police released a statement, saying officers arrived on scene, and found two victims killed at the home.

The statement then said there was an officer-involved shooting, and that an adult male suspect was pronounced dead at the scene.

No one else was hurt in this incident, and there were no outstanding suspects.

The officer has been placed on routine paid administrative leave.

A neighbor who has lived in the area for 8-years, says he had never seen anything like this before.
"It's just shocking," said Richard Ruiz. "I don't want to hear anyone taking each other's life."

Authorities are not commenting about the relationship between the suspect and the two people who were found dead.

The Santa Clara County District attorney's office and the San Jose Police Department's homicide unit are conducting a joint criminal investigation.

Authorities also say this case is being monitored by the police department's internal affairs unit, the City Attorney's Office, and the Office of the Independent Auditor.

This incident follows another officer-involved shooting in San Jose Tuesday night.
