Vallejo police investigating 1st homicide of 2025
VALLEJO, Calif. - A man was stabbed to death in Vallejo on Friday, marking the city's first homicide of the year.
Police said officers responded to a call about the stabbing near the intersection of Lemon and Third streets at around 2:20 p.m.
There they located the victim with at least one stab wound. He was taken to a local hospital for his injuries, but he died at the hospital, police said.
Police are investigating and are looking into the motive and circumstances surrounding the stabbing.
The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
There is no suspect information available. Police said to contact them if you have any information about this case.
