President-elect Joe Biden formally nominated Janet Yellen for Treasury Secretary. If confirmed, Yellen would be the first woman in history to lead the Treasury Department. Her former colleague at UC Berkeley says she's the right person for the job.

California imposes curfew as virus cases surge
