Oakland city councilmember Sheng Thao announces candidacy for mayor

Oakland city councilmember Sheng Thao announced her candidacy for mayor of Oakland on Wednesday. The election will be held in November 2022 when Mayor Libby Schaaf will be termed out. KTVU's Amber Lee spoke with Thao about her campaign, qualifications and previous struggles that have made her resilient.
