Oakland schools delays student COVID vaccine requirement deadline

Oakland Unified School District has decided to delay their student COVID vaccine deadline requirement because not enough students are vaccinated yet. Students now will have until January 31, to show proof of full vaccination or face distance learning. In the meantime, the district will focus on education for parents and the community.
