Power knocked out to more than 5,000 customers in East Bay

At least 5,000 PG&E customers in Oakland and other parts of the East Bay lost power during the strong wind storm. There were reports of downed power lines and fallen trees, prompting PG&E to remind residents to exercise caution and let crews repair the damage.
