Oakland Police Department federal oversight expected to end

Oakland's police chief and Mayor Libby Schaaf held a news conference Wednesday where they expressed optimism over the department complying with all but one of the federal reforms they were held to per a legal agreement more than 20 years ago. Their compliance is expected to bring the oversight to an end.
