U.S. Surgeon General in SF to address social isolation and loneliness during COVID pandemic

U.S. Surgeon General Vivek Murthy spoke to a crowd in San Francisco on Monday. He said isolation and loneliness was made worse during the coronavirus pandemic and that there can be physical health consequences. He says the problem spans all ages and that building meaningful relationships is key to reversing the downward spiral, but that it's up to individuals and institutions like workplaces and schools to implement these changes.
