First suspected case of monkeypox in Santa Clara County
Health officials in Santa Clara County on Thursday announced their first suspected case of the monkeypox virus. Health officials are concerned about people who come into contact with someone who has monkeypox, those who travel to countries where there are outbreaks of the disease, and men who have sex with men, since they have been disproportionately affected by outbreaks.
