MyShake App wakes people far away from the quake's epicenter
An app designed to give warning seconds before an #earthquake hits, woke up many people early Tuesday morning who were far from the epicenter in #Ferndale #HumboldtCounty. The UC Berkeley seismologist/director of the Berkeley Seismological Laboratory who led the team who developed the software says the app worked well and explains why.
