Oakland Police Chief LeRonne Armstrong fired by Mayor Thao
Former chief of police in the City of Oakland LeRonne Armstrong is defending his performance saying his firing on Wednesday is wrong and that it was unfair. Mayor Sheng Thao announced her decision to fire Armstrong without cause, following reports his department did not properly investigate misconduct.
