Criminal justice and climate change are working together

California battles wild fires every year; however, there never seems to be enough firefighters to battle those blazes. At the same time, formerly incarcerated individuals struggle to find employment when they reenter the workforce. Enter The Forestry & Fire Recruitment Program which works to help formerly incarcerated individuals become firefighters.
