Deputies call off pursuit in San Lorenzo after child struck by suspect's car, officials say

A child was hit by a suspect vehicle in San Lorenzo on Monday afternoon, according to authorities. Alameda County Sheriff's deputies responded to a report of a threat at a Citibank when the suspect fled in a vehicle. Officials say the suspect struck a teen pedestrian during a pursuit. The pursuit was then called off. The teen is expected to survive.
