Too many Republican holdouts for Jim Jordan to become House Speaker

The House of Representatives will go at least one more day without a Speaker. Republican Congressman Jim Jordan failed to get enough votes on the first ballot and is now working to win over the holdouts. Jordan needs 217 votes to clinch the position. The next vote is scheduled for Wednesday morning.
