Oakland Zoo welcomes baby giraffe, Kendi
For the first time in 11 years, Oakland Zoo's giraffe herd is welcoming a new baby. Her name is Kendi and she's a big baby, standing 6 and a half feet tall and weighing 150 pounds. KTVU's Alex Savidge speaks with Amy Phelps, Assistant Zoological Manager at Oakland Zoo about Kendi and her mother Kajiji's unique birth story.
