Off-duty pilot charged with murder makes 1st court appearance

The off-duty Alaska Airlines pilot from Pleasant Hill who's accused of attempting to cut the engines while he was in a jump seat made his first court appearance. Court documents reveal he told police he had been struggling with depression.
