Tahoe roommates get creative trying to scare bear away from kitchen
A group of roommates in Tahoe City had to try a few different strategies in order to get a hungry black bear away from their home. They initially found the bear inside the house rummaging through the fridge, but managed to scare him outside for a few minutes. The bear then returned, trying to get back into the kitchen through the sliding glass door. The group responded by growling and yelling at the bear through the glass, hoping it wouldn't break. KTVU's Claudine Wong spoke with Maddie Church, the roommate who shot this now-viral video about her various experiences scaring bears.
