Pleasanton crash kills 3, injures 5

Three people were killed, including two adults not wearing seatbelts, when their SUV popped a tire and slammed into a tree on I-680 near Pleasanton on Monday, authorities said. Five other people were injured, including infants who had minor injuries, the California Highway Patrol said.
