Protesters at People's Park call for end to construction plans
Dozens of protesters hit the streets of Berkeley on Thursday to call for an end to construction plans at the historic site known as People's Park. The conflict between protesters and police is nearing 24 hours. UC Berkeley plans to build student housing at the site and police have set up a barricade to keep people out.
