Oakland City Councilmember Carroll Fife says people tend to approach her as if she's larger than life. What they may not realize is that she doesn't like being in front of the camera, and would even call herself a reluctant politician albeit a passionate one. She told me she never shares her personal, or talks about when she and her family experienced homelessness. For the first time, Fife sits down with KTVU's Claudine Wong to talk about that story and why the perspective into what fuels her passion is more important than she might think.
