Is Google an illegal monopoly? Bay Area attorneys discuss impact of DOJ antitrust case

Closing arguments wrapped up Friday in the U.S. Department of Justice's antitrust case. The government says Google controls or owns channels for some 80% of all search engine queries in the United States, and accuses the Silicon Valley tech company of shutting out competition by spending $20 billion on exclusive contracts with companies such as Apple.
