Bay Area to see economic boost from major sporting events
The Bay Area Host Committee predicts the region will see a $1.4 billion boost from several sporting events coming to the region in the next few years. The NBA All-Star weekend will descend upon Chase Center in San Francisco next year, and Super Bowl LX and FIFA World Cup 26 will be held at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara in 2026. We talked with Zaileen Janmohamed, the president and CEO of the BAHC, for more insight.
