Oakland faces subpoena deadline in FBI probe of Thao, Duong Family
Oakland City officials received a letter from the city attorney alerting them to not delete or change documents and communications that are now under subpoena by the FBI and the U.S. District Court of Northern California. The city attorney Barbara Parker received the subpoena that was dated June 25th, just five days after the FBI raided Mayor Thao's home and a city contractor California Waste Solutions, run by the Duong family.
