Oakland youth football coach who has a frightening encounter with CHP, reunites with officer who handcuffed him for uniform giveaway to kids
An Oakland youth football coach's frightening encounter with CHP turns into an experience with a positive outcome. About two months ago, a suspect running from CHP got into the coach's car. That led law enforcement to surround the vehicle with guns drawn. But after CHP determined that the coach had nothing to do with the suspect, officers got to know the coach and learned that his team needed items including new uniforms. The CHP officer who handcuffed the coach, worked with nonprofits to provide the football jerseys for the team in a giveaway event.
